HI!

I am a wedding, event, and portrait photographer based in Richmond, Virginia. I have been taking photos my whole life and have been shooting professionally for at least 15 years. I absolutely love being able to meet new people and capture moments of their lives for them. My photos tend to be fun, colorful and full of joy because that is how I choose to live my life as well! I try to make sure that my sessions are run that way as well!

Who am I?

• These days my number one descriptor is MOM. I have two amazing kids who run my world. Since they arrived I have realized, even more than before, the importance of photography to capture these precious moments!!
• Before my sweet kids came around, I was known as DOG MOM. That hasn't changed either. The number of pets around our home just keeps going up! I never thought I would say this....but these days I am also a cat mom!
• WIFE! In September of 2018, I got married to the most amazing fella/father in the world! Booked a wedding with Melissa Brugh Photography? You probably have seen him! He is my second shooter!
• RVA ALL DAY! We bought a house and moved right outside the city in the suburbs but before that I was a Carytown native for over a decade and still am in love with my city. I will always recommend its amazing sites for locations for our sessions!
• Travel junkie! Exploring the world is something everyone needs to do for their soul.  I have made it to about 17 different countries so far and love experiencing all the different cultures. There is so much more for me to see!
• Music, music, music. My whole life has been driven by music. Oh, if we could count up the money I have spent on concert and festival tickets. whew! I actually learned how to use a "big girl camera" in front of the stage shooting live music.
