Proof that I can keep secrets! Actually, this was one of many secrets I got to keep last fall for my clients...

I got a message one day from Amanda informing me that she and Randy were on their way to the courthouse to elope. Having a big wedding was something neither one of them wanted so they decided on a private elopement and then a photo shoot to capture some portraits for their announcement. 

I met Amanda and Randy around the Powhatan Courthouse where they were married and we just walked around taking portraits and having a blast.  Those fall colors did not disappoint us either! They had also gotten in touch with Mabel's there in Powhatan who designed a special wedding milkshake for them and let us in their closed shop for some photos! I didn't get to try the fancy elopement shake but both Amanda and Randy said it was ahhhhhhmazing!

 I had to keep these photos underwraps for a week or two until the announcement card showed up in the mail but the card looked awesome and was so worth the wait!

What a fun way to get married!
